用温暖拥抱冬日丨2025慈善暖冬市集圆满落幕

On the afternoon of 10 December, the Sports Hall was transformed into a cosy “Winter Wonderland” as the annual Charity Winter Fair drew to a gentle close amidst music, laughter, and heartfelt goodwill.

Bathed in the soft afternoon winter sunlight, pupils, parents, and friends dressed in fluffy attire arrived gradually, filling the hall with a warm and joyful atmosphere. The fair featured a wide variety of  46 creative stalls, offering experiences ranging from handcrafted goods and speciality foods to festive gifts. Every genuine conversation at the stalls and every act of support came together as a shared expression of kindness within the Wellington community. 

At three o’clock in the afternoon, the musical performances began as scheduled. From the lively “Jingle Bell Rock” by the Junior Choir to the “A Merry Holiday Medley” by the Senior Choir, the pupils conveyed warmth through their dedicated performances, showcasing the artistic talents of Wellington pupils. The subsequent “mystery guest” segment and the grand prize draw added waves of laughter and excitement to the event. 

Thanks to the enthusiastic support of all participants, the fair successfully raised RMB 17,397.8. All proceeds will be donated in full to Xinchang Primary School in Yinjiang County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, specifically for purchasing musical instruments and enhancing music teaching facilities. We believe that every contribution will transform into a musical note, helping children in distant places explore a broader world through music.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the pupils, parents, and friends who attended, to the hard-working organising committee and volunteer team, and to every performer who took to the stage. We would also like to express our special thanks to the event's sponsor partners, whose generous support made this warmth possible. It is all of you who made this winter afternoon meaningful and allowed kindness to cross mountains and seas, taking root where it is needed. 

Though the Charity Winter Fair has come to a close, the warm stories of the Wellington community will continue to unfold.
