Book Week
This year’s annual CISK Book Week has been a roaring success! With a range of activities across every day of the week, students from kindergarten to high school have had the chance to build on their love of reading and their appreciation of the treasures you can find in books.
今年CISK的图书周取得了巨大的成功! 在这周里，我们每天都有一系列的活动，幼儿园到高中的学生都有机会从中培养他们对阅读的热爱以及对“书中黄金屋”的探索与发现。

Monday
Students were reciting poems
学生们进行了诗词朗诵
Tuesday
Kindergarten and PYP students teamed up for a Pajama Reading Buddy activity, where the older students read stories to their younger schoolmates.
幼儿园和小学的学生一起参加了“睡衣阅读伙伴”活动，在这场活动中高年级的学生给低年级的同学读故事。
Wednesday
Students took part in a Book Exchange, where they could bring old books to school and then swap them for other books brought by their schoolmates – everyone could get something new!
全校学生们参加了换书活动，他们把旧书带到学校，然后与同学们带来的书籍进行交换，这样每个人都可以获得新书！
Thursday
All students designed their own new covers for books they had chosen, while MYP and DP students had a very special event – an interview with the renowned young Chinese author Karoline Kan, whose book “Under Red Skies” tells the story of three generations of life, loss, and hope in China.
所有学生都为自己选择的书籍设计了新的封面，而MYP和DP的学生则有一个非常特别的活动--采访著名中国青年作家Karoline Kan，她的书《在红色的天空下》讲述了三代中国人的生活、伤逝与希望。
Friday
Students dressed as characters from books and took part in a catwalk in the gymnasium. Meanwhile, there has been a Book Fair here the whole week, where students can browse through and purchase new books.
学生们装扮成书中的人物进行走秀表演。同时，在这一整个星期里，都有举办书展，学生们可以随时在这里浏览和购买书籍。
The whole week was great fun, and it was marvelous to see students entering into the activities with such enthusiasm. There is no doubt that CISK students understand the importance of reading and that they are genuine book fans!
整个星期都非常有趣，看到学生们以如此大的热情投入到活动中去，真是令人惊叹。毫无疑问，CISK的学生了解阅读的重要性，他们是真正的书迷！
